Put Your Resume on a Baseball Card

Looking for a unique way to stand out in the job market? Need a good networking tool? Well, consider shrinking your resume to the size of a baseball card. I've covered Cubicle Cards before but now there's COLUCARDS. You can upload your pic and preview online. Look, I just created mine:
Clayton, NC (PRWEB) September 26, 2007 - Col-U Cards, Inc. has launched colucards.com (www.colucards.com), providing consumers Web portal access to the company's highly-requested Col-U Cards and Pocket Resume products. Additionally, it features Col-U Forum--an online social networking destination where college students can post reviews of the schools they currently attend.

Col-U Cards, which is the company's flagship product, is essentially a baseball card-style biography that consumers can create themselves. After uploading their photo, visitors use a form template on the Web site to enter personal information. Then, a full-color, 3.5" x 2.5" card featuring their photo on one side and mini-biography on the other is created. The cards can be bought in decks of 16 and up.

Col-U Cards is also introducing its Pocket Resume product on the new site. Similar to the Col-U Card in formatting, it features a condensed version of an individual's resume--highlighting his or her most recent employment history and achievements. "It's a creative and extremely unique way to pass along information about yourself during networking opportunities," explained Reina Lipscomb, co-owner and president of Col-U Cards. "It certainly sets you apart from competitors." The Personal Resume product can be purchased in decks of 16 and up.

Col-U Forum, which provides a place for college and university students' to post evaluations about the schools they currently attend, is also debuting on Col-U Cards new site.

Col-U Cards, Inc. is based in Clayton, N.C. For more information about the company, call 919.585.4497 or visit www.colucards.com.

They cost about a dollar or less depending on how many you buy.
