I dont recommend doing it...but if you can't afford a resume writer, here are a few free or much cheaper ways to get a good resume.
1. ResumeWiki: post your resume here and let others comment on it. Love that user generated feedback!
2. emurse: the web resume service
3. resume software: not the greatest solution but better than nothing
4. free critiques: many resume writers will offer free critiques of your existing resume.
