There's a great post over on Recruiting.com about the effectiveness of cover letters. This is a MUST READ for any job seeker.
A number of recruiters chime in that they really dont read cover letters anymore. Why? They're just too busy and don't have the time. I consider this one of the new rules for job hunting.
