Well according to the latest Spherion survey most of you are not and employers aint 'getting it' either.
Workers Say Employers Not Adapting to Their Evolving Needs and Priorities
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Despite a historically low unemployment rate and the beginning effects of a labor shortage, a recent survey shows that many workers say their employers are not taking the necessary steps to retain them. In addition, less than half of the U.S. workforce (43 percent) say they are satisfied with their
current jobs, according to the comprehensive study released today by Spherion Corporation (NYSE: SFN), a recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider.
"Our Study indicates some very troubling trends in the employee-employer relationship," says Roy Krause, Spherion(R) president and CEO. "The workforce is largely dissatisfied with their employers' efforts on the factors they feel are most important to them and will keep them in their current jobs."

Lots of good data from the study Chris. Thanks for citing it! The biggest disconnect, it seems, is in the area of time and flexibility: While 65% of employees consider it a key driver of retention, only 35% of employers believe so. And while 75% of employees cite salary, only 49% of employers do. But at least most in both camps find management climate and culture/work environment about equally important. The bottom line: Pay, benefits, work-life balance, growth potential, and work climate are very important for job seekers. Forward-thinking employers need to keep those in mind in keeping and attracting employees. From the looks of these numbers, expect many employees to send out resumes in search of workplaces that come closer to those priorities.
Employers these days want they're employees to wear multiple hats and such. How can you want to stick around when your being hired for less and expected to do more!
