Back in the early 2000's the top job boards (in monthly traffic) in the U.S were:
1. Monster
2. CareerBuilder
3. HotJobs
Today the landscape is shifting. Here is the new order:
1. CareerBuilder: 25 million visitors/mo.
2. HotJobs: 15 million visitors/mo.
3. Monster: 14 million visitors/mo.
Once upon a time Monster was the king. It still has the most widely recognized brand but upstarts like Indeed and niche/local boards are cutting into them sharply.
