Manpower, the staffing firm, just came out with a list of the top 10 hardest to fill jobs. No surprise to see sales as the number one need. It's virtually impossible to find good sales people these days.
The 10 hardest-to-fill jobs, as reported by U.S. employers, are:
1. Sales representative (1)*
2. Teacher
3. Mechanic
4. Technician (4)
5. Management/executive (10)
6. Truck driver (7)
7. Driver/delivery (7)
8. Accountant (5)
9. Laborer
10. Machine operator

Strange that Sales should be the hardest job to fill.
I have been doing sales recruitment for 20 years, never realised it was so difficult!
It just shows you, mind you many sales reps just cannot sell.
