Juju, another job search vertical

There's a new job search vertical now online called Juju. One of their founders emailed me recently;

Juju re-launched, which has been around since 1998 and was probably the first job search engine on the
web (we don't know of any older ones), in January of this year with a new identity and new technology, but have been keeping pretty quiet
while building out our back end and working out the bugs. At the moment, we are quite similar to Indeed and SimplyHired, but have some
interesting things in the pipes that we aim to roll out in the not too distant future.

It's hard to imagine these guys making a dent in the market. Indeed and the others have such a commanding market share, I dont see room for anyone else. Vertical search is becoming a commodity.

But anyway, welcome to the party pals.

I wouldn't consider it new. We have partnered with them for some time with our job boomerang product.

If you are an active job seeker there is no such thing as 'another job search vertical'.

That said, nearly all vertical job search engines fail to truly engage their users.

Let's change the discussion, and focus on a search engine's ability to deliver exceedingly relevant matching job leads.
