In their quest to be the top job board, Monster.com has become a junkmail site for online job hunters. They seem to accept any and all kinds of jobs and provide a distracting user experience.
Job seekers want relevant, professional job listings but Monster gives them too many 'ads' and not enough jobs.
Here's my evidence;
I know the military has a tough time recruiting but do they really need to plaster their jobs all over the page? This page has no less than 18 jobs on it. Is this job seeker friendly?
No wonder niche and local job boards are seeing an uptick in traffic AND sales. The Monster's of the web are turning off job seekers left and right.
