Job Search Secret: Making Headlines

Getting noticed by a hiring manager/recruiter is often a tough task for many job seekers. But there are ways to grab their attention by employing a more creative, guerilla marketing approach to applying for a job.

The solution is to make your own headlines! Here's what I mean.

Let's say you are about to apply to a job by sending an email to a recruiter. The SUBJECT line of the email message is your chance to create a 'buzz' for yourself. Use a creative headline to call attention to yourself.

A few examples would be:

"Your Customers Will Love My Customer Service" (person applying for customer service rep.)

"Cyberspace Cyber Ace Seeks To Catapault Your Website" (person applying for webmaster job)

The idea could even work if you apply by fax. An example is below.
