My new friend Mark Maunder over at Jobster alerted me to his new post on googling candidates. If you want to enhance your visibility when a recruiter googles you, this is a must read.
Mark writes..."It's standard procedure these days for a recruiter to research a prospective hire using the web. Jobster (the company I work for) provides an application for recruiters to network their way to the right candidate - and Jobster includes, among other tools, a link that gives a recruiter the option to Google each candidate. So it's becoming increasingly important for individuals to make sure they look good when someone types their name in Google...."
