Getting Creative with

If initiative is one of the attributes you're hiring for, you've got to like this guy. 35-year old Gary Radke, a marketing and e-commerce professional in Green Bay, Wisconsin practiced what he preaches when he was laid off recently ? he marketed himself. Radke bought space on a billboard at an intersection in town, which he designed to look like a classified ad. "Creative, experienced marketing guy seeks stable company for long-term relationship," reads the copy, which goes on to advise potential employers to visit "I looked at it as a standpoint of a marketing director, what things worked when I sell a product or show," said Radke. " Instead of a product or service, it's me."
